In the 80's NASA thought it quite important to conduct a study to find out which plants would suit astronauts' needs best when it comes to purifying the air. Turns out plants to much more than taking in carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. The following plants were listed the best in terms of absorbing and filtering out toxic airborne particles and gases.
